My First Experience at a Stella & Dot Trunk Show

I recently found out about Stella & Dot through a friend’s trunk shows that was hosted at her house. Our stylist was her cousin, Monica Nicole.
I had no idea what to expect from a trunk show and I was told to come dressed in a dress that I wanted to get styled. It was fun being able to try on the jewelry with friends, just like a game of dress-up and we even got to play stylist! I loved the idea of bringing the boutique home, a more relaxed shopping experience.

I browsed through the Look Book at the trunk show and I fell in love with the Pavé Chevron Ring. I loved the dainty and simple design, yet still having a unique statement. The impulse shopper in me couldn’t pass it up!

A few days passed since placing my order—5 to be exact—and my order arrived on my porch. It came in a padded bubble mailer and I got excited and opened it right away. The packaging was cute and the ring was even cuter! I already knew how it would look since I tried it on at the trunk show, but the ring is even better because it was my own.

I ordered the ring in gold and size small. This ring is adjustable and works for my scrawny fingers. It goes great with a casual outfit or formal outfit. On a side note, I’ve also washed my hands with the ring on and the color and jewels are still intact.

Monica’s an amazing stylist and if you’d like to get styled by her, visit her website here: www.stelladot.com/sites/monicanicole
